| This site contains historical photos taken by Howell Area Chamber of Commerce Staff, George Moses, Dave & Dianna Kaczanowski & myself over the years. When Sally Witt, Mike Hagman and I Pam Rietsch started this event in 1983 we really just thought it would only last a few years. Yet, now 29 years later as I drove down Grand River and saw the Victorian lamp poles, the bright red ribbons on them and the stores already decorated for the parade it brings a warm feeling in both Sally's & my heart. Without the absolutely WONDERFUL help of the Howell Area Chamber of Commerce and their GREAT staff, the City of Howell and thousands of others that spend that valuable time to build floats for the parade it would never have developed into something that will continue on I hope for decades to come! | |
| Thank You to Anyone who has participated to make this the place for all of Livingston County residents & beyond to come on the Friday night after Thanksgiving. We now see the children of those original visitors to the parade on their shoulders to watch Santa come in to welcome you to HOWELL!~ | |
